Strawberry Fields Forever!- May 3, 2010

Yesterday I was at the State Farmers’ Market for work and got to sample one of NC’s fabulous springtime treats. Strawberries! Small towns are filled with pick-your-own farms and roadside stands. The big Farmers’ Market here in our city is fantastic and it’s an all out strawberry war for them to get you to buy their little “heaven nuggets” as I like to call them.

We had our awesome friends over for burgers and we let the dogs play. It was a lovely afternoon! No offense to my friends but, these beauties all cut up with whipped cream were the best part!

I went to bed ready to eat the leftovers for dinner. I could bathe in a tub of these beautiful berries. Someone save me.
