Due Date Democracy- October 28, 2010
Today was the due date and I’m still pregnant. Frankly, I’m pretty upset about it, so lets move on. Shall we?
Election Day is Tuesday. Yep, I’m that dork who’s up on local and state midterm elections. I even cast a ballot in the Primary a few months ago. It was pretty much me, the candidates, their families, and old people pissed about Medicare donut holes.
Today I jinxed myself into still being with child for another week by voting early. I guess I was trying to pass the time to avoid insanity set a good example for my child. Downtown was a cluster and it’s unseasonably hot. So hot I’m rockin’ the Rainbow flip-flops until November. (I’m a pregnant Southerner! I’ll do what I want!) I did not want to find a spot blocks away and then walk to the Board of Elections. I decided I would use my child to make my life easier and pulled up to the curbside voting for handicapped people.

Congrats on still having on your wedding rings on your due date! I think with Travis I made it to about 34 weeks with my rings. With Justin they were off by 20-some weeks.
aww. we don't do any of that curbside voting crap here up in The North nor do we have early voting in person. only mailed in early ballots. or so i assume since i have never voted earlier, i have only heard of the mailing in ballots early.

I had to take off my wedding and teeny tiny can barely see it engagement ring (yes hubby knows i call it that) when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. I so envy you.
Don't worry about being late, babies pop out when they're good and ready.
My 14 year old was right on time, the 12 year old was 2 weeks late, the 2 year old was one week early and the one year old was 3 weeks early. see? before they're even born they're doing what they want.
if you hit two weeks, get induced. all they had to do for me was break my water and out popped baby number 2.
do lots of walking and have sex, it does help. pretty much why #3 was early.
