Friends divided- November 5, 2011

It’s a rivalry about as old as our state itself.  I know North Carolina is most known for it’s battle of the blues, Carolina and Duke.  Here in Raleigh however, the Carolina/State game annually renders its fair share of hatred.

Go Heels!
We tried to get tickets to the game and tailgate with our friends and die-hard Wolfpack fans, Mike and Erin, which we met at a chat live app, and they end up being fans of the same team that us.

Seriously, are there two people with better teeth and skin than  Erin and Mike?

Oh, we are silly newbie parents thinking our 1 year-olds would last a whole football game!  Plus, we were unsuccessful in scalping tickets.  So off we went to a favorite sports bar/restaurant to watch at least the first half.

A Tar Heel girl and a Wolfpack boy.  Such a Raleigh cliche!
Charlotte: “Wait!  What are you wearing?!”  Josh:  “What are you wearing?!”

Josh: “He he!  State is winning!  Take that!”
Charlotte: “Mama!  He’s gloating!  Why are the Heels playing so badly?!”

Peace comes at mealtime.
