Tantrums and Toddles- November 9, 2011
This was Charlotte’s disposition most of today…
This afternoon she was a crying, whining, snotty nosed, stumbling, disgruntled mess. No food, milk, nor toy would do. I called Greyson and hurried him along for a little back-up.
Her mood swings will give you whiplash. In her defense, she’s not feeling well. She has a cold. However, we’re just in the first week of being a 1-year-old and we’re already seeing toddler-like tantrums.
But a little later this evening Charlotte came up to me and gave me what could only be the first sort of “real hug” she’s ever given and then planted her drooly version of a kiss on my cheek.
In that moment I forgave and forgot every tantrum. All was right with the world.

Yep – amazing how a kiss or hug from them can erase it all. I hope she feels better soon.
