What am I thinking taking this on?- November 1, 2011
Happy National Blog Posting Month! The goal? To post every single day in November. You know, in all my free time. I just remind myself there’s only 30 days in November. (Yes, I had to do the little rhyme in my head to recall this.)
Beth Anne gave me the idea. I’ve also seen it floating around Twitter. People tend to be psyched about things on the first day, so we’ll get a Tweet count on like, day 22.
I’ve decided to do it because I feel like I’ve lost my way a little with my little blog. I’ve forgotten why I write. I love writing, way more than my day job. I love keeping a record of our funny lives and growing baby. I love the people I’ve met through blogging. This blog is supposed to be fun.
So get ready, I’m writing and posting pictures this month. I’m making it a priority. Join me! Let me know if you’re doing the same! Or, just tell me about your blog. I want to read it. Be warned, some posts may not make it up until later in the day, such is life. Happy November!

Amy, have you read The Happiness Project by Gretchen Rubin? Your comment that you love writing way more than your day job (and your struggle to write regularly) reminded me of the book. When you get a free moment (ha!), check it out. It's an easy but really intriguing read. And happy early 1st to the little one!

Also, I agree with the comment above, "The Happiness Project" is a GREAT read and I've really enjoyed implementing some of her ideas.
