Right with the world- December 30, 2011

I sat at work depressed, sick, bitter, and tired yesterday. I watched this video on my phone a few times to cheer me up. I realized this is all that matters. Our little girl got her Elmo.

I watch the video and laugh at my silly “Mommy tone of voice.” I watch and smile when I see her smile.

In that moment on Christmas morning I didn’t want anything else. Greyson even said, “Okay, that’s all the Christmas I need.” In that moment all was right with the world. I’m trying to carry that with me, the joy, the peace, even when all is not right with the world.
