Working when everyone knows- April 21, 2010
I worked just one day this week before leaving for our 5th anniversary vacation in Vegas. I asked my boss not to tell my coworkers until I could get it all out to the family. I figured they could all find out on Facebook. They did. Within a few hours I had about 60 comments to my post and many more posts on my wall. The well wishes were great!
My coworkers hugged me and were genuinely excited for Greyson and I. It was so nice. I got the “Was it planned?” and “Are you gonna find out the sex?” questions. I figured all the irritation about me being gone for 12 weeks and people having to fill in would come eventually. Today I just enjoyed everyone’s kind words.
