Wet T-Shirt Contest- January 22,2012
This is Charlotte and her friend Cadence at Marbles Kids Museum this weekend. It was rainy, cold, and the perfect place to let little ones run out their energy. In this picture, I imagine Charlotte saying “Girl! I mean, driving this play submarine is cool and all, but you’ve GOT to check out the water table!”
So, we went over to the water table.
This was the first time I ever had other parents keep their child away from mine. I guess other parents didn’t want their kids to be part of this contest to see who could get the most drenched. These girls splashed much, and giggled so loud we could not stop laughing. The plastic smocks were useless. Thank God we had back up clothes. They didn’t even want to play with the toys in the water, they only wanted to splash. At the other end of the water table a group of children played peacefully and barely got wet at all. Not these party girls.
Charlotte took a 2.5 hour long nap after this.
