Best weekend ever- October 17, 2011

I think when I’m an old woman on my death bed, it will be weekends like this one that I will remember as the best. We had the most beautiful fall weather here in NC.

Here are some grainy cell phone pics of our much-needed date night Friday night. After dinner we took a rickshaw ride though downtown Raleigh. Silly, charming, and fun. (Excuse the grainy cell phone pics, but I didn’t want to haul the camera on our date.)

We were able to catch the fireworks from the State Fair as we headed home. We pulled over on the side of the road to watch.

The next day was Josh’s 1st Birthday party. (I brought the camera.) I was so happy for our friends Mike and Erin. One year of being parents! (It was another reminder of how close Charlotte’s birthday is. ::sniff sniff::)

Sunday we went to the NC State Fair.

We indulged in a little deep fried fun. Yep, that’s me with the deep fried candy bar. Maybe I won’t live as long because I ate stuff like that, but it was so worth it.
